Baby Jewels

Good morning, Baby Jewels
And how are you today?
Do you have someone to help you
Keep the wolves at bay?

I’m still losing the same fight
I’m still waking up with you
The first thing on my mind

I’m still hacking through the weeds
I’m still scraping on my knees
I’m still providing answers for crazy people
I’m still missing you

I hope you feel a breeze today
Across the back of your neck
I hope you have someone to hold
And kiss
Someone to put his arm ’round your shoulder
And keep the wolves at bay
