Death

Death is just another one
Of those things
Like air and pop music
That cannot be avoided

Sleep doesn’t replicate death
Any more than it answers the question:
Why am I so tired?

When I was just a boy
Answers weren’t just available
They also made perfect sense

And love was the easiest one of them all
Because it answered everything
Even death
