I know what happens when we die because it happens every night.
We leave our bodies behind and drift into the world of dreams and memories that make a kind of sense that doesn’t translate to our waking, living world. I know why people see puffy clouds as paradise and endless flames as damnation. We have already seen them in that dream world.
One night, we will return to our bodies and find them gone, cold and dead. Then we will follow our dreams to their natural conclusions.
