I wrote this song on a barstool in a place called Reichenbach Hall. I wrote a lot of lyrics there.

The song is an ode to hedonism. Because the world doesn’t have enough of those, no matter how hard men like Oscar Wilde and Keith Richards have tried. When you feel like tomorrow might not come (or might suck) it’s best to do as Janis Joplin advised and get it while you can.

I’m fighting for my life
My life’s a fight
But something feels right
If I can’t have tomorrow
How about tonight?

I’m blinded by your light
I never thought I’d see such a beautiful sight
If I can’t have tomorrow
How about tonight?

If I can’t have this afternoon
How about next week?

How about we do it till we can’t even speak?

I’m tired of words anyway
And the sound of my voice

I’m tired of pretending I haven’t got a choice

I’m tired of everything I do
I’m tired of everything but you

I think I’m losing the fight
I think you always knew I might
If I can’t have tomorrow
How about tonight?
