Remember, This Is Supposed To Be Fun

This is a reggae-ish twist on the song Fun that I wrote and recorded with Late Model Humans last year for our album Ain’t No Good.

Remember this
Remember this
Remember this is supposed to be fun

Just ask any little boy
Life is meant to be enjoyed
And sometimes it makes sense to lose your mind
To be a kid one last time

Maybe we can learn a few new tricks
Or bring back a good old one
Otherwise it’s all just politics

Remember this is supposed to be fun

I’m not going backwards
Just going back
Do you remember standing on that line
To be a kid one last time

Maybe we can learn a few new tricks
Or bring back a good old one
Otherwise it’s all just politics

Remember this is supposed to be fun

You might feel foolish
You might get hurt
You might be surprised at what you find
To be a kid one last time
